The BP93420DII is a differential pressure transmitter equipped with a diffusion silicon piezoresistive sensor, featuring dual pressure ports for connection to pipelines or impulse lines. This device is designed for measuring pressure differentials in both gaseous and liquid media, capable of handling overpressure, vacuum, and near-static conditions.
The sensor utilizes a solid-state ceramic diaphragm that deforms under applied pressure, with the resulting strain producing a proportional change in resistance. This signal is processed by an integrated electronic converter within the housing, which outputs a standardized 0–10 V or 4–20 mA signal.
Installation is facilitated by threaded connections, making the transmitter suitable for diverse industrial and sanitary applications. Typical use cases include monitoring pressure differentials in heating systems (between supply and return lines), as well as controlling filters, fans, and compressors.
